  • Turner scored 14 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT) grabbed eight rebounds and had six assists in 34 minutes against Orlando on Wednesday night. With much of Indiana's lineup resting for either the second half or the entire game, Turner played a fairly significant role for the Pacers Wednesday night. That of course will not continue on in the playoffs, as Turner will be coming off the bench, playing roughly 15-20 minutes per game. 2014-04-16 22:11:22 -0400

  • Turner played 41 starting minutes Wednesday, when he finished with 23 points (9-18 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine assists, and seven rebounds versus Milwaukee. Turner's fantasy production Wednesday was inflated because the Pacers opted to rest their entire starting lineup. As such, Turner assumed a role similar to the one he enjoyed with the Sixers previously this season: an offensive catalyst for a team mostly deficient in the department. When handed the minutes, Turner is definitely capable of strong fantasy contributions across the board, but since arriving in Indiana, his reserve role is clearly not as conducive to fantasy success. With the Pacers' starters likely to return next game, Turner should come off the bench moving forward. 2014-04-09 22:48:44 -0400

  • Turner will get the start at shooting guard for the Pacers on Wednesday in Milwaukee, the Pacer's official site reports. Turner will start as the Pacers decided to rest their five starters on Wednesday against the lowly Bucks. He could be a nice daily games play as he returns to the starting lineup. Turner averages 14.2 points, 5.1 points, and 3.1 assists per game, with most of those coming as a starter in Philadelphia, so he has the potential to have a solid performance on Wednesday against the Bucks. 2014-04-09 16:40:37 -0400

  • Turner has sought out the expertise from famed shooting coach Mike Penberthy, the Indy Star reports. "Sometimes it's all about technique and form, and I just need something consistent. That's it," said Turner. Penberthy has worked with other players such as Paul George and Andre Iguodala. Turner is obviously feeling the pressure to perform at a higher rate with his new contending team in Indiana. Over the last seven games, Turner has shot just 30.2 percent from the floor so he obviously stands something to gain from a little extra help. 2014-03-30 10:43:44 -0400

  • Turner played 17 minutes on Wednesday, scoring three points (1-5 FG, 1-1 FT) to go along with a rebound and an assist. Turner showed last Saturday with his 20-point performance that he can cash in a big game here and there, but with a total of seven points in his last two contests, he's not someone that can safely be relied upon in most leagues. Even with backup point guard C.J. Watson (hamstring) out, Turner was unable to take advantage, despite leading the Pacers' bench with 17 minutes played. It's become clear that his role as a sixth man doesn't necessary translate to much fantasy value in most formats. 2014-03-20 11:13:29 -0400

  • Turner produced 20 points (8-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT) in 30 minutes in the overtime win over Detroit on Saturday. He added five rebounds and two assists. Turner had only scored a combined 21 points in his previous four games and looked like he had not found a very strong spot in the offense. Playing against the Pistons helped, but maybe Turner has turned a corner in his Pacer career. 2014-03-15 22:52:55 -0400

  • Turner may find himself assuming backup point guard duties on Saturday, as both C.J. Watson (hamstring) and Donald Sloan (personal) have been ruled out, Pacers.com reports. Turner racked up 22 points and five assists over 31 minutes back on March 5 against the Bobcats, the last time the Pacers were without their backup point guard C.J. Watson. Turner is really the team's only legitimate ball handling threat after George Hill, who is dealing with a minor hand injury himself. Turner is poised to be a major factor in Saturday's game, and daily games users may want to take notice, if the value's right. 2014-03-15 12:28:36 -0400

  • Turner tallied a team-high 22 points (9-12 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and five assists in 31 minutes against the Bobcats on Wednesday. Turner had it going Wednesday, which earned him over 30 minutes for the first time since joining the Pacers. Along with an impressive shooting night, Turner took advantage of C.J. Watson (elbow) missing out by leading Indiana with five assists. While Turner's role in Indiana is less prominent than it was in Philadelphia, he can still provide an offensive spark off the Pacers' bench, as he displayed Wednesday. 2014-03-05 21:37:36 -0500

  • Turner was held scoreless on 0-for-5 shooting with three rebounds and one assist in 18 minutes off the bench Tuesday against the Warriors. The Pacers' starting lineup was at full strength for the first game since Turner was acquired from the 76ers, and it really demonstrated how insignificant Turner will be on some nights. This is obviously the low-end of the performance spectrum for Turner going forward, but he can certainly be dropped in single-season standard leagues. 2014-03-04 23:04:34 -0500

  • Turner had 17 points (8-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT) with three rebounds in 26 minutes in the win over Boston on Saturday. Turner was able to get some time in leading the offense with George Hill (shoulder) out. His 17 points were Turner's highest total since joining Indiana. He appears to be fitting in with his new team. 2014-03-01 23:13:58 -0500

  • Turner finished with eight points (2-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, three assists, and one block in 20 minutes Thursday. Even though he struggled from the field in the win over the Bucks, it seems like Turner will continue to get 20 or 25 minutes per game in the Pacers' rotation and should get a good number of shot opportunities coming off the bench. 2014-02-27 22:04:31 -0500

  • In Turner's first night in a Pacers uniform, he posted 13 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3 Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with six rebounds, two assists and two steals over 26 minutes off the bench. Turner's fantasy value was expected to take a hit with his arrival in Indiana, but Tuesday's 26 minutes of playing time suggest that the regression may not be as serious as originally anticipated. Coach Frank Vogel seems to like the combination of Turner and Lance Stephenson in the second unit, and will continue to roll with these guys when he's looking for offense. 2014-02-25 23:03:12 -0500

  • Turner will be in the Pacers rotation for his debut with the team Tuesday, the Indianapolis Star reports. Turner is expected to take over Danny Granger's role on the team as the primary scorer off of the bench. He is expected to get 20-25 minutes a night. Turner's fantasy stock has definitely been affected, as he will get fewer minutes and fewer shots. 2014-02-25 14:27:12 -0500

  • Turner will handle Danny Granger's typical workload of 20-to-25 minutes Tuesday against the Lakers, the Pacers' official site reports. In his first game as a Pacer, expect Turner to be the primary scoring option off the bench, but because Lance Stephenson often handles the ball with reserve units, Turner's entire repertoire may not be on display in his initial outings. In addition, Granger's 22.5 minutes per game are a far cry from Turner's 34.9 this year, but the latter should still be a modest source of points and rebounds with his new squad. 2014-02-23 17:47:45 -0500

  • Turner will not play Saturday versus the Bucks, the Indianapolis Star reports. Turner was dealt to the Pacers ahead of Thursday's trade deadline and will now gather his belongings and meet his new teammates over the weekend. While he won't play Saturday, Indiana's Tuesday tilt at home against the Lakers is probably a realistic expectation for when Turner will make his team debut. Although Turner's acquisition provides Indiana with quality depth, the move hurts Turner's fantasy stock, since he will now come off the bench. As such, expect less playing time and production from Turner, who previously benefited from inflated numbers on a dismal Philadelphia roster this season. 2014-02-21 12:47:07 -0500

  • Turner has been traded from the Sixers to the Pacers, Yahoo! Sports reports. Turner should slot into a bench role for the Pacers, but it's difficult to see a big enough role available for Turner that would make him relevant in anything other than deep leagues. He was traded to the Pacers in exchange for Danny Granger, and Granger was only playing 23 minutes per game off the bench for the Pacers, and that wouldn't be a big enough role for Turner to be of use in most standard leagues. 2014-02-20 15:44:26 -0500

  • Turner scored 11 points (3-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT) with seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals in the loss to Cleveland on Tuesday. He played 33 minutes. Despite the terrible shooting, Turner had a productive game as the 76ers were blown out for the third time in four games. After a big November (21.1 points, 46.1 percent from the field), he has cooled off. It will be interesting to see if he gets traded this week and how that affects his value (it will likely hurt his value). 2014-02-18 22:24:25 -0500

  • Turner and the rest of the Philadelphia team struggled Sunday in a blowout loss Sunday. He scored seven points (1-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT) and grabbed four rebounds in 27 minutes. This game should be considered an anomaly for Turner. He only played 27 minutes because his team was down by so much, as this game became noncompetitive quickly. With that said, Turner has struggled a bit in the month of February, and could use a big game to break out of his slump. 2014-02-10 17:31:39 -0500

  • Turner scored 21 points (7-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go along with six rebounds, three assists and three steals Monday against the Suns. Turner is one of the main offensive weapons for Philadelphia and has played particularly well of late, as he's averaging 20.8 points over his last four games. Owners can continue to start him with confidence. 2014-01-27 22:00:58 -0500

  • Turner netted a career-best 34 points (13-22 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT) to go with 11 rebounds Wednesday versus the Knicks. Turner entered Wednesday's contest with just 29 points over his last three outings, but exceeded that total in a single game against the struggling Knicks. The swingman made all of his three-point attempts and also tied his season-high of 11 rebounds. A performance to remember from Turner. 2014-01-22 23:24:00 -0500

  • Turner will see minutes at point guard while Tony Wroten (ankle) is sidelined, the Delaware County Times reports. With Wroten out indefinitely after spraining his right ankle Saturday, Turner is set to handle point guard responsibilities whenever Michael Carter-Williams leaves the floor. Turner didn't enjoy much success in his first crack at the position Monday, as he shot 30 percent from the field and finished with just one assist. Lorenzo Brown is expected to see additional time at the point as well. 2014-01-22 10:32:53 -0500

  • Turner scored a game-high 23 points (8-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT) to go along with six assists, five rebounds and two steals in 43 minutes against Denver on Wednesday night. It's back-to-back 20-plus point nights for Turner since missing Saturday's game with a knee injury. He's a poor man's LeBron in terms of stuffing the stat sheet, and although he's not shooting the ball particularly well this season, he will continue to contribute in a variety of categories for this Sixers team. 2014-01-01 23:39:19 -0500

  • Turner (knee) will not play Saturday against the Suns. Turner did not participate in the shootaround on Saturday morning and was not able to loosen up for the game against Phoenix. Tony Wroten could return to the starting lineup. 2013-12-28 19:50:14 -0500

  • Turner (knee soreness) did not participate in Saturday's morning shootaround, but he will play against the Suns, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Deploy him as you usually would, as he'll continue to play through the knee soreness. 2013-12-28 13:40:51 -0500

  • Turner is suffering from right knee soreness but is not expected to miss time, the Delaware County Times reports. The knee started troubling Turner during Friday's loss at Milwaukee, and he reportedly pulled up lame during drills Sunday. Coach Brett Brown said Turner would be a game-time call if the team played in the near future, but since they don't play again until next Saturday, Brown doesn't think Turner will miss time. 2013-12-22 15:33:24 -0500

  • Turner broke out of a slump by scoring 29 points (13-22 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go along with 10 rebounds and five assists in the overtime win against Brooklyn on Friday. He hit a buzzer-beater in the extra period that bounced around the rim before dropping. In his previous two games, Turner had scored a combined 12 points and hit 4-of-18 (22.2 percent) from the field. He has been a steady source of assists despite his fluctuations in scoring. Hopefully, his fantasy owners were not too put off by his games against Portland and the first game against the Nets to keep him out of the lineup. 2013-12-20 22:30:14 -0500

  • Turner scored 25 points (11-23 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go along with eight rebounds, five assists and one steal Monday against the Clippers. Turner is clearly Philadelphia's best offensive weapon and he has come through in a big way this season as he is currently averaging 20.7 points game. Look for him to continue to provide plenty of offense throughout the season. 2013-12-09 22:25:21 -0500

  • Turner had just six points (3-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt) with five assists in the loss to Denver on Saturday. This was just the second time that Turner has been held to single digits. He bounced back with 26 points in the game after scoring four against the Pelicans on Nov. 16. In his last three games, he has only hit 37.0 percent (17-of-46) from the field. 2013-12-07 21:30:59 -0500

  • Turner just missed out on a triple-double Wednesday against the Magic. He recorded 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-2 FT, 1-4 3Pt), 11 rebounds and eight assists. Wednesday's performance was typical for Turner so far this season. He has shown more consistency this year compared to last season and there are no signals pointing towards a reason why this trend should not continue. 2013-11-27 22:10:05 -0500

  • Turner scored 21 points (8-26 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT) with 11 boards and two assists in the loss to Indiana on Saturday. Turner set a season standard for shots taken, but had one of his worst shooting performances of the season. He was visibly frustrated at times and was called for a technical foul. While Turner's shooting percentage is on the descent, he is still hitting 45.6 percent of his field goals. 2013-11-23 21:54:45 -0500

  • Turner had a team-high 27 points (10-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT) with six rebounds and three assists in the overtime win against the Bucks on Friday. Turner has had a pair of poor games of late (just four points against the Pelicans, 13 against the Raptors), but he has shown the ability to score at least 20 in most games. He is getting heavy minutes and playing with the ball in his hands a great deal. 2013-11-22 23:17:27 -0500

  • Turner scored 13 points (4-13 FG, 0-2 3P, 5-6 FT) with 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals in Wednesday's loss to the Raptors. It was a tough shooting night for Turner, who's been much more efficient offensively so far this season than he'd been in his first three years in the league. Turner owners have to hope nights like this are just blips and not signs that his FG% is about to start regressing. 2013-11-20 21:58:29 -0500

  • Turner scored 22 points (10-22 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT) to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists in the loss to Dallas on Monday. It finally seems like Turner is living up to the expectations that came with being the second overall draft pick in 2010. He was able to recover following a tough game against the Pelicans on Saturday, one in which he scored a season-low four points. 2013-11-18 23:55:10 -0500

  • Turner scored a team-high 27 points (10-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT) in the loss to Atlanta on Friday. He had four rebounds and four assists, but turned the ball over seven times. Turner came into the game as the eighth best scorer in the NBA and improved his scoring average to 23.4 points. He has kept the turnovers under control for the most part in his big minutes, but won't be of much help in leagues that include assist:turnover ratio. 2013-11-15 23:02:30 -0500

  • Turner had another big offensive night Monday against the Spurs as he scored 20 points (9-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with three rebounds and two assists. Although he didn't contribute much more than points Monday, Turner was coming off back-to-back games with 10 rebounds each. Philadelphia doesn't have many potent players offensively, so look for Turner to get plenty of shots throughout the season. 2013-11-11 21:45:56 -0500

  • Turner had a season-high 31 points (9-23 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 11-13 FT) with 10 rebounds in the double-overtime loss to the Cavaliers on Saturday. Turner loves coming home to Ohio to play. Last year in two games against the Cavs, Turner averaged 17.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. He continued his fine play in the same state where he played college ball, and is having a breakout season. 2013-11-09 23:14:16 -0500

  • Turner provided 22 points (10-18 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, and five assists in the win over Cleveland on Friday. He did have six turnovers in 37 minutes. Turner has scored at least 18 points in every game and has hit at least half of his field goal attempts in all but one game. He is clearly enjoying being able to play with the ball in his hands like he did at Ohio State, but he may not be able to sustain his excellent field goal percentage 54.6 percent, 53-of-97). 2013-11-08 22:08:40 -0500

  • Turner had 24 points (9-13 FG, 1-2 3 Pt, 5-6 FT) to go along with seven boards, four assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss to the Wizards. Turner has embraced his role as one of the team's top offensive threats, and led the team in scoring once again on Wednesday night. He'll continue to go for big numbers in a contract year, as he shows off his skill set to potential suitors around the league. 2013-11-06 21:30:45 -0500

  • Turner scored 18 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, three steals and one assist Monday against the Warriors. Turner has played very well so far this season as he is averaging 21.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He worked hard over the summer to take his game to the next level and early indications are that he will make that progression this season. 2013-11-04 22:07:15 -0500

  • Turner scored 20 points (7-16 FG, 6-7 FT) to go along with three rebounds and three assists in the win over the Bulls. Turner has now scored at least 20 points in all three games, but hasn't hit a 3-pointer (0-of-6). His field goal percentage dipped a bit in the third game, but that may have been due to the Bulls' defense or to simple regression. It looks like the fourth-year forward is taking advantage of his opportunity. 2013-11-02 23:03:56 -0400

  • Turner did not receive a fifth-year qualifying offer from the Sixers, and there will likely be a parting of the ways after this season, USA Today reports. "[GM Sam] Hinkie is not my GM. He doesn't owe me anything," Turner said of the situation. "...We're going in different directions and everything like that." This is a contract year for Turner, which is good for fantasy owners, but that could be offset by the fact that the Sixers clearly don't view him as a part of their long-term plans. Still, the lack of talent behind Turner at shooting guard and small forward in Philly should allow him to continue to see big minutes. 2013-11-02 11:47:59 -0400

  • Turner had 23 points (10-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with six rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the win over Washington on Friday. Turner has looked good in the early season. He has scored 24.5 points along with 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games. While he hasn't hit a 3-pointer in four attempts, Turner has made 20-of-37 (54.1 percent) from the field. Keep him in the lineup. 2013-11-01 22:38:53 -0400

  • Turner posted 26 points (10-19 FG, 0-4 3 Pt, 3-4 FT) to go along with 5 assists, 4 rebounds and a steal in Wednesday's victory over the Heat. Turner was a major contributor in the Sixers' 19-0 run to start the game, and continued to be a go-to source for offense, playing in a team-high 37 minutes. Turner should be a lock to see high minutes for the Sixers all season long, which will solidify him as a prominent fantasy contributor in most formats. 2013-10-30 22:08:29 -0400

  • Turner scored 11 points (2-15 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 7-9 FT) in Wednesday's loss to the Timberwolves. It's these type of inefficient performances that Turner will look to eliminate this season as he attempts to shake the "underachiever" label cast upon him as a former high draft pick. It's worth noting that he added 10 rebounds and five assists, but his all-around numbers will be overshadowed if he shoots poorly from the field (41.9 percent last season). 2013-10-23 22:51:58 -0400

  • Turner had another big game Monday against the Nets as he scored 23 points (8-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT) to go along with five rebounds and four assists. There was a lot of hype around Turner entering last season and although he played well overall, he was inconsistent and fantasy owners had to deal with more disappointing individual games than they would have liked to. He has played really well so far this preseason and if he can play well on a consistent basis this year, his fantasy value could progress to the next level. 2013-10-14 21:54:57 -0400

  • Turner had a game-high 25 points (7-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-12 FT) to go with five boards, three assists, one steal and five turnovers in 31 minutes Sunday in the Sixers' preseason opener in Spain. This is what we are expecting out of Turner this year, as he should dominate the ball on the wing and lead the team in field-goal attempts most nights. However, in turnover leagues, he'll be a bit of a liability. 2013-10-06 15:29:51 -0400

  • Turner will receive the opportunity to expand his role in the Sixers' offense this season, CSN Philly reports. "With change comes opportunity," said general manager Sam Hinkie, who later added "This could well be an opportunity where Evan thrives." Turner saw improvement in his third season, averaging increased minutes and posting career highs of 13.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists. It had been previously speculated that Turner would be traded this offseason, but it appears that Hinkie is comfortable with his small forward receiving an increased workload in 2013-14. The former second overall pick hasn't quite lived up to the high expectations in Philly thus far, but the organization isn't ready to give up on the 24-year-old quite yet. 2013-08-01 14:33:41 -0400

  • Turner said that he believes he will be back with the Sixers for the 2013-14 season and that he is "just tapping the surface," The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Turner's productivity has been questioned considering he was the second overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. He finished the 2012-13 season averaging 13.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists over 35.3 minutes per game. Turner has struggled immensely at performing impressively in back-to-back nights. Although Turner has had flashes of ability, he needs to work on his consistency if he wants to become an important contributor in the NBA. 2013-04-20 15:38:58 -0400

  • Turner finished the season with averages of 13.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in a career-high 35 minutes. While Turner's numbers marked career-bests almost across the board, such is expected as the result of a significant increase in playing time (26 minutes last season to 35 minutes this season). In his first year taking on a full-time role as the Sixers' small forward for the departed Andre Iguodala, Turner raises questions as to whether or not he may ever live up to his potential as the second overall pick in the 2010 draft. It should be noted that his field goal percentage this season marks a career-worst at under 42 percent despite being one of the main focuses of the Sixers' offense. Granted, ex-coach Doug Collins' system may not have utilized Turner's abilities, and perhaps the forward may have one last chance to prove his worth in the 2013-2014 season under a new coach. 2013-04-19 03:46:52 -0400

  • Turner failed to convert any of his 11 field goal attempts and did not score in the win over the 76ers on Friday. HE did have four rebounds and seven assists. Turner has been struggling from the field and has made just seven of his last 33 attempts (21.2 percent) in his last three games. He does provide more assists than other forward-eligible players, but he is hurting fantasy teams in field goal percentage. 2013-04-12 22:20:20 -0400

  • Turner scored 14 points to go with five rebounds and five assists in 32 minutes of action Saturday against the Heat. Over his last five games, Turner is averaging 19.4 points (54 percent FG), 8.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. After a long slump over the past month, Turner has turned the tables and his production has seen a 180 degree change of direction. With the Sixers closing off with a favorable schedule (six games over the last two weeks), look for Turner to be a solid option moving forward. 2013-04-07 00:32:50 -0400

  • Turner scored 24 points (9-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go with 11 rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 38 minutes of action Friday against the Hawks. It appears Turner has been getting back on track after a long slump that had the better of him for the good portion of March. Over his last four games, Turner is now averaging 20.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. This production has come at the right time for owners, and one can be hopeful that he will continue this stretch of solid games. 2013-04-05 22:44:17 -0400

  • Turner scored 14 points and added six rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 33 minutes of action Wednesday against the Bobcats. It appears Turner may be rejuvenated after a long slump of unproductive games for the good portion of March. Over his last four games, Turner is averaging 18.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. If he can continue to produce well moving forward, he will be undoubtedly be an asset for owners deep in the playoffs. The Sixers have a favorable schedule to end the season (six games over the final two weeks), and Turner will likely continue to see big minutes to close the year. 2013-04-05 01:27:37 -0400

  • Turner had a team-high 22 points (8-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT) with seven rebounds and three assists in the win over the Bobcats on Saturday. Turner has had back-to-back productive games against the Cavaliers and Bobcats. He has provided 45 points and 20 rebounds in the wins. Perhaps he can end the season on an upswing. 2013-03-30 23:10:03 -0400

  • Turner provided 23 points (9-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with 13 rebounds and four assists in the win over Cleveland on Friday. Turner had only averaged 10.0 points and 4.2 rebounds in his previous five games, but had another solid game against the Cavaliers. In his previous two games in November against Cleveland, he averaged 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 8.0 assists. 2013-03-29 23:46:26 -0400

  • Turner managed to score just six points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with six rebounds in 31 minutes of action Monday against the Jazz. Turner has been atrocious over his last five games, averaging just 7.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. Coach Doug Collins has not shied away from tinkering his rotations of late, and while Turner has still seen 30-plus minutes frequently, it appears that his run of solid production has come to an end. Feel free to cut him loose in shallow leagues for a hot waiver player. 2013-03-25 23:46:24 -0400

  • Turner scored 12 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT) to go with four rebounds, two steals, and six turnovers in 31 minutes of action Thursday against the Nuggets. Turner has now seen his production reach the floor over his past several games. It is evident that the forward is running out of steam, along with the Sixers' playoff hopes this season. After a remarkable first half to the season, averaging 13.8 points (on 43 percent from the field and 76 percent at the foul line), 6.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists, Turner has seen his production decrease across the board. In the month of March, he is averaging just 11.4 points (on 39 percent from the floor and 62 percent at the charity stripe), 5.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists. Owners can only hope that he bounces back for the fantasy playoffs. However, a resurgence in production is not imminent at this point. 2013-03-21 23:50:25 -0400

  • Turner scored 11 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with four rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 34 minutes of action Saturday against the Pacers. Turner has been less productive over his last five games, averaging just 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. His mini-slump has come at the wrong time for owners, as the playoffs near. Hopefully the forward can get back to his productive ways sooner than later. 2013-03-17 00:32:49 -0400

  • Turner scored 16 points (6-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go with seven rebounds and four assists in 39 minutes of action Monday against the Nets. Despite finally scoring above his season average of 13.7 points for the first time in four games, Turner continued his poor shooting from the field, going 6-for-18 Monday against the Nets. Turner's recent slump is now becoming more evident, as he is just 23-for-75 (31 percent) from the field over his last six games. Long streaks of productive games followed by series of stinkers has been characteristic of Turner's season all year long. On a positive note, this current cold streak may be an indicator that another hot streak is soon to come, just in time for the fantasy playoffs. 2013-03-12 02:07:00 -0400

  • Turner had six points on 2-for-5 shooting with two three-pointers, two rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes Sunday against the Magic. Turner is in the midst of a mini slump, and is averaging just six points and 3.3 rebounds per game while shooting 7-for-25 (28 percent) from the field over his last three games. We would expect Turner to play his way out of this funk, but it certainly is coming at a bad time for his owners with many fantasy playoffs already underway. 2013-03-10 21:14:23 -0400

  • Turner racked up 18 points (6-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in a 109-101 loss to the Celtics on Tuesday. Although seven 76ers scored double-digit points Tuesday, not a single player reached the 20-point plateau. The team is badly in need of a top scorer to complement point guard Jrue Holliday, and it's increasingly looking like Turner won't be that player. His fantasy contributions are solid on a nightly basis, but his progression has stalled after a promising start to the season. 2013-03-05 22:21:21 -0500

  • Turner had 22 points (10-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT) with 10 rebounds and nine assists to lead the 76ers past Golden State on Saturday. Philadelphia is going to need a lot more big games from the former second pick of the draft to get back into the Eastern Conference playoff race. Turner equaled his season high in assists and has averaged 8.7 rebounds over his last three games. 2013-03-02 22:29:13 -0500

  • Turner recorded a solid stat line Thursday, adding 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Turner has scored in double digits for eight consecutive games and counting. During that span he has recorded at least six rebounds six times, and at least four assists four times. He has been producing good all-around numbers all season long and should continue to be a serviceable asset in all leagues. 2013-02-28 23:00:36 -0500

  • Turner had 16 points (8-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, and five assists Saturday in the loss to the Heat. Turner has scored in double digits in his last five games, but has not been shooting particularly well. His five assists were his most since February 4. 2013-02-23 23:55:56 -0500

  • Turner scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in Wednesday's loss to the Bucks. Turner has been in a slump thus far in February, as 20 points is his most since Jan. 28. Heading into the All-Star break, Turner is averaging 13.6 poings, 4.5 assists and 6.6 rebounds per game. 2013-02-14 02:17:04 -0500

  • Turner scored just two points (1-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt) to go with nine rebounds, four assists and four turnovers in 28 minutes Wednesday in a loss to the Pacers. Turner has been on a shooting slump over the last four games, averaging just 5.0 points (25 percent from the field) during that span. He has still managed to contribute in other categories, adding 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in his recent slump. Turner can be considered a buy-low option at this point, as he is sure to bounce back from his recent woes. 2013-02-07 01:37:03 -0500

  • Turner struggled to find his shot, scoring just six points (3-11 FG) to go with four rebounds, three assists, and a block in 37 minutes Wednesday. Owners can forgive Turner for his poor performance against the Wizards, as he had been playing excellently in his four games prior. We fully expect Turner to bounce back from his poor outing. 2013-01-30 23:43:32 -0500

  • Turner had another big game Monday against Memphis as he scored 27 points to go along with seven assists, three rebounds and one steal. Turner is playing well and has averaged 23.3 points, 5.7 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals over his last three games. When Turner is on his game, he can provide fantasy owners with solid numbers in multiple categories. 2013-01-28 22:20:29 -0500

  • Turner followed up his strong performance Monday with 23 points (8-19 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block, and two turnovers in a game-high 45 minutes Tuesday. Turner's recent production is reminiscent of his stronger performances earlier this season. This could be indicative of Turner getting into his groove once again. 2013-01-22 23:59:05 -0500

  • Turner had an excellent all-around game Monday against the Spurs as he scored 18 points to go along with 12 rebounds, seven assists and one three-pointer. Performances like Monday can both excite and frustrate Turner's fantasy owners. He has the talent to fill up every stat column on any given night, but has struggled to find consistency this season. He entered Monday averaging only 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists in January and will need to play with more consistency to live up to being the second overall pick in the 2010 draft. 2013-01-21 22:02:35 -0500

  • Turner scored 12 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt) to go with seven rebounds, six assists, and two turnovers in the Sixers' win against the Rockets on Saturday. Turner finally broke out of his shooting slump, as he had not shot over 50 percent from the field in five games prior. The result was the Sixers' first win in six games. Turner will continue to be a go-to option for the young Sixers team. 2013-01-13 01:01:07 -0500

  • Turner scored eight points (4-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt) to go with seven rebounds, five assists, and two turnovers Tuesday. Turner has been struggling to find his shot over his last three games, averaging only 8.3 points on 32 percent from the field. However, he has been productive in other categories, averaging 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.7 steals during that span. We expect him to recover from his recent shooting woes sooner than later. 2013-01-09 05:47:16 -0500

  • Turner scored five points (2-of-7 FG) with six rebounds, five assists, two steals and six turnovers in 30 minutes Friday night in Philadelphia's loss to Oklahoma City. This was the third time in the past six games that Turner has scored in single digits. Turner has been boom or bust during the Sixers' road trip, an eight-gamer that ends Saturday night in San Antonio. In the first seven games of the trip, Turner shot 38.4 percent (30-for-78) and didn't attempt a free-throw in three of those games. 2013-01-05 12:15:05 -0500

  • Turner scored 21 points (10-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt) with five rebounds and six assists Friday in the win over Atlanta. Turner had been limited to 21 minutes against Houston because of a sprained ankle. He was healthy and teamed with a returning Jrue Holiday to cause problems for the Hawks. Turner has scored at least 16 points in six of his last seven games. 2012-12-21 22:39:11 -0500

  • Turner (ankle) will start Friday against the Hawks, phillyburbs.com reports. As expected, Turner will be a go against Atlanta, but there's always a chance his minutes are reduced a bit. 2012-12-21 17:58:21 -0500

  • Turner (ankle) said he will play Friday against the Hawks, 76ers Director of Public Relations reports. Turner is currently dealing with a mild left ankle sprain. If he plays Friday, it will be interesting to see how the Sixers manage his minutes, as he is averaging a ridiculous 38.9 minutes per game in December. 2012-12-21 11:06:25 -0500

  • Evans (ankle) is a game-time decision for Friday's game against Atlanta, the Delaware County Daily Times reports. Evans sustained a minor left ankle sprain during Wednesday's loss in Houston but intends to do everything in his power to suit up Friday. He has taken on a robust minutes load in December, averaging 38.9 minutes per outing, which he may find hard to match, if in fact he takes the court. 2012-12-20 15:10:59 -0500

  • Turner (ankle) said he's "going to be OK" and will "try and get back out there Friday" after mildly spraining his left ankle Wednesday against the Rockets, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. While it looks like he avoided a serious injury, he will likely be a game-time decision Friday. 2012-12-20 12:22:27 -0500

  • Turner left Wednesday's game against the Rockets in the third quarter with a mild ankle sprain, the Sixers' official Twitter reports. • Turner has been averaging 17.3 points (42 percent from the field and 62 percent from the line) with 1.0 triples, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 41 minutes per game in December. Turner has received praise from Coach Doug Collins of late, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. "Evan is an amazing kid.... I really feel good about the way he's letting me coach him. I feel a real connection with Evan and it feels great," Collins said. Turner's increased playing time (41 minutes per game in December compared to 34 mpg in November) has contributed to better production. His relatively low percentages this month should not cause owners to worry, as his season averages of 44 percent (FG) and 79 percent (FT) are solid, and he is likely to bounce back. 2012-12-13 13:34:28 -0500

  • Turner had 26 points (10-26 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, and five assists in Philadelphia's overtime win against Boston on Friday. Turner took a season-high in shots while trading barbs with Paul Pierce. The 76er had the last laugh with the win, but he needed 26 shots to get there. Over his last five games, Turner is providing 20.8 points on 46.7 percent from the field with 6.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists. 2012-12-07 22:49:25 -0500

  • Turner had 25 points (10-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and 10 rebounds Friday in the win over the Bobcats. Turner has scored 22 points or more three times in his last four games and has averaged 7.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists over his last five games. After shooting the ball poorly to start the season, Turner has picked up his field-goal percentage. In his last eight games, he has converted 51.4 percent of his shots and he has been shooting more as well. 2012-11-30 22:25:50 -0500

  • Turner had a season-high 26 points (10-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT) with five rebounds and four assists Saturday in the overtime loss to the Thunder. He has even made 49.3 percent of his field goal over that stretch. 2012-11-24 22:21:36 -0500

  • Turner had 12 points (6-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, and seven assists as the 76ers were beaten by the Cavaliers on Wednesday. Turner continues to look more comfortable in a lead role, especially against the Cavaliers. He is still struggling with his shot and is converting just 40 percent of his field goals. Over his last four games, Turner is averaging 6.0 assists. 2012-11-21 21:57:19 -0500

  • Turner had 19 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with six rebounds and a season-high nine assists in the win over Cleveland on Sunday. Turner had a great passing and shooting game, which may be a sign of great things to come (or just a blip on the radar). He certainly looked comfortable in the 76er offense at least for one game. Let's hope it continues. 2012-11-18 20:55:23 -0500

  • Turner scored a season-high 25 points (9-19 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT) with 11 rebounds and four assists Friday in the win over Boston. • Turner had 14 points (7-15 FG), eight rebounds, and three assists Wednesday against New Orleans. Turner shot a bit better against the Hornets than he had in his first three games (28 percent from the field). • Turner scored 11 points to go along with nine rebounds and six assists Monday against the Knicks. Turner is an intriguing fantasy option based on his ability to provide value in numerous categories. He's not going to be an elite scorer, but he is a good rebounder for his position and can also distribute the ball. 2012-11-05 21:53:01 -0500

  • Turner had 11 points, 11 boards, one assist, two steals and a three-pointer in 37 minutes Sunday against the Knicks. Turner has always been an excellent rebounder for his position, and he was able to get to the line Sunday, making all six of his attempts to make up for shooting 2-of-9 from the field. 2012-11-04 23:01:14 -0500

  • Turner did not participate in shooting at the end of Thursday's practice, the phillyburbs.com reports. No injury was reported, so this is likely nothing more than Turner getting some rest the day after a game. He is expected to be fine going forward. 2012-11-01 12:55:44 -0400

  • Turner (ankle) had his fourth-year option exercised by the 76ers on Thursday, the team's official site reports. This is not a surprise, as the Sixers and coach Doug Collins are very high on the third-year swingman. He has a decent amount of sleeper potential this season with Andre Iguodala out of the picture. He averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game last season and led all NBA guards in total rebounds. 2012-10-25 12:50:48 -0400

  • Turner (ankle) sat out practice Wednesday, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. Turner hasn't returned to the court since spraining his ankle Sunday. • Turner had 14 points and seven rebounds as the 76ers were beaten in overtime on Saturday by Brooklyn. Turner may the key figure in the Philadelphia season. The big question will be whether Turner can be a consistent force. He played 33 minutes on Saturday and looked pretty good. 2012-10-13 23:52:55 -0400

  • Turner will be the starting small forward for the 76ers this season, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. Turner should have more consistent value as a starter this season. In 20 games as a starter last year, he averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 0.5 blocks. With Andre Iguodala traded to Denver, Turner should see consistent minutes and have the ball in his hands much more on offense. 2012-10-10 21:14:21 -0400

  • Turner is expected to have a breakout season for the 76ers. Turner should be the starter at shooting guard or small forward this season. In 20 games as a starter last year he averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 0.5 blocks. With Andre Iguodala traded to Denver, Turner should see consistent minutes and have the ball in his hands much more while on the court. 2012-10-10 20:50:39 -0400

  • Turner averaged 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 26 minutes per game in 2011-12 season. Turner was wildly inconsistent, taking the game over at times and at others completely disappearing. As a result, his playing time was also inconsistent. With the possibility that the Sixers could trade Andre Iguodala in the offseason, Turner could be in line for more minutes next season. He'll likely be a popular sleeper again next season. There are plenty of reasons to like Turner's upside, but his inability to play at a high level consistently and the Sixers' style of play that spreads around the ball handling duties means his potential may still be stunted next season. When given the minutes, Turner is a good source of points, rebounds, and assists, but he doesn't contribute much in three-pointers or steals and is prone to turning the ball over. 2012-06-07 16:58:24 -0400
